ApplyING to be a court appointed special advocate
After reading about becoming a CASA Volunteer, take a look at the training schedule and volunteer commitments to determine if this journey in child advocacy is the right fit for you. Our Spring Pre-Service CASA Training is from May 14 - June 6, 2024. It is held via Zoom on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9pm, with the exception of one of those evenings where we will meet in person. After your training is successfully completed you be sworn in by the Chief Judge of the Norfolk's Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court as a Court Appointed Special Advocate. After that, you'll be assigned your first CASA child.
We are so excited to add your voice to ours as we take a stand for Norfolk's kids!
