After graduating from Dartmouth College, he relocated to Jersey City, NJ, where, following in his parents’ footsteps, he pursued a career in education. He served the children of Jersey City as a teacher, literacy specialist, and elementary school principal. Gary retired from full-time work in 2019. A year later, he, his partner, Dwight and their dog, Bo relocated to Virginia so that Dwight could be closer to his family and launch a transportation business. Norfolk CASA celebrates the return of our
Mother's Day Luncheon & Silent Auction!
Friday, May 6, 2022
Norfolk CASA's annual luncheon honors the role of mothers in our own lives
and serves as a great reminder of the importance of family.
As we work to tell the story of children who navigate the courts due to abuse and neglect, we
also work to bear witness to the incredible journey of families who face struggles to heal, hope,
and restore stability. Understanding the critical importance of family preservation for our CASA
kids and our community, we honor the mothers, and all those who
step into the role, this day and everyday.
